I wanted to share a list of the 10 BEST baby products that we got the most use out of in the past year.
Below is the official list of items that we 100% recommend adding to your baby registry or purchasing for your baby’s first year of life.

1. EXTRA LARGE PLAYPEN
This is the item you didn't know you needed..but now you know! This playpen was worth it even in our small 740 sq foot house. Add it to “Most Wanted” …trust me.
2. THE SAFEST INFANT CAR SEAT I COULD FIND PLUS STROLLER
This car seat goes by European safety standards which are much higher than those in the US. Our son fit in the dimensions of this car seat all the way up to age 1. The set comes with the car seat, one base and the stroller. You can purchase an extra base separately as well.
3. CONVERTIBLE CAR SEAT
This is the car seat to switch to once your baby outgrows the above infant car seat. It is by the same company, Britax, and follows the same European safety standards. This also means we can bring this car seat with us to the UK when we visit my husband’s family and it will meet all safety standards there legally.
4. BEST CARRIERS (ONE FOR MOM AND ONE FOR DAD)
My husband and I are both PLUS SIZE, so I did a lot of research on the best plus size baby carriers for men and women. These are both SO comfortable. My husband also gets tons of compliments from other dads every time he uses his. It was his “NEW DAD GIFT” from me and he still uses it all the time.
5. THE BASSINET THAT WILL SAVE YOUR BACK
We originally had a different bassinet. Our son had colic, so we had to find something more convenient for me to be able to lean over throughout the night and care for him more easily. This fit in our small bedroom, locks and unlocks to be able to push the side down to get baby out from bed and the height adjusts! It was perfect and 100% worth the investment.
6. BEST BABY SWING
The reviews speak for themselves. This was the number one rated swing and we all agreed!
7. LEACHCO PODSTER
I love the original Boppy, but liked the Leachco 10x better when it came to the lounger style. We’re glad we went with the Leachco and our son still sits in it himself at age 1!
8. PORTABLE SOUND MACHINE
This sound machine is affordable, has multiple settings (the rain is our favorite), and has amazing battery life. The sounds are soothing and we needed to purchase a second one for my husband and me because we got so used to it at night.
9. ACTIVITY PLAY MAT WITH PIANO
We loved this because it came with the little piano that our son could continue to use even once he outgrew the mat.
10. MUSIC-FOCUSED JUMPER
I come from a musical family and we knew we wanted to introduce our son to music from an early age. This jumper was perfect for that! It also grew with him because of the various height settings you can set it to.
